Peached Pears - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 firm Bosc pears with stems (can also use Anjou or Bartlett)
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. honey
squirt of fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. red wine
Preparation

Peel pears except for small circle near tops; leave stems on. Slice a little off bottom of pear so it will sit straight up. Place pears in pan and fill pan 1/2 way up with water. Add rest of ingredients and cook over medium heat about 15 minutes or until tender. Serves 6.
