Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans (walnuts may be used)
Preparation

Cream butter; gradually add sugars, creaming until light.
Add eggs, beating well after each.
Sift together dry ingredients. Add alternately to creamed mixture with applesauce.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
