Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. round steak
1 onion
3 cans cream of chicken soup
1 c. water
1 can mushrooms
1 or 2 cartons sour cream
Preparation

Cut steak into small pieces.
Salt and pepper; put into paper bag with flour and shake until all is covered.
Fry until tender in butter.
I use half butter and half cooking oil.
When all of steak is fried, put onion which has been cut into small pieces, in pan and saute until tender.
Add water, then soup and mushrooms.
Put steak in and simmer 30 minutes.
Add sour cream and let simmer about 5 more minutes.
Serve over noodles or rice.
