Baked Green Beans And Mushrooms(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. fresh white bread cubes, crusts removed (6 to 7 slices)
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
    4 (3 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
    3 (15 1/2 oz.) cans cut green beans, drained
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. toasted sliced almonds
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
