Twinkie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 Twinkies, cut in half
    2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
    3 c. milk
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 large can fruit pie filling (blueberry, pineapple or cherry)
    carton Cool Whip
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix pudding and cream cheese well.
    It will have some lumps.
    Lay Twinkies, filling side up, in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch dish.
    Pour half of pudding mix over Twinkies.
    Then half of fruit filling.
    Repeat; top with Cool Whip and nuts.
    Refrigerate.
