Weepless Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. water
    3 egg whites, at room temperature
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In a small saucepan mix 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in water, stirring over medium heat.
    Bring to a boil and boil for 1 to 2 minutes, or until thick and clear.\tCool completely.
