Divinity Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. water
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook sugar, corn syrup, salt and water until a small amount forms a soft ball (234\u00b0 to 240\u00b0) when tested in cold water.
    Take out 1/2 cup of this mixture and cook the rest until it forms a hard ball (250\u00b0 to 265\u00b0) when tried in cold water.
