Egg Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk, scalded
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat eggs until well blended.
Add sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.
Add hot milk, slowly stirring constantly.
Pour into deep dish pastry shell.
Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
