Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. salad oil (if meat is very lean)
    1 large can tomatoes (1 lb.) or tomato puree can be used
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    6 large lasagna noodles
    2 (12 oz. each) cartons cottage cheese
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In a heavy pan, lightly brown beef and onion in oil. Add tomatoes, paste, water, parsley, salt, sugar, garlic powder, pepper and oregano. Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes.
