Shepherd'S Pie(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cooked mince (hamburger)
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 c. stock made from beef stock cube
    salt and pepper
    1 egg
    2 oz. butter
    2 lb. boiled potatoes
Preparation
    Heat mince.
    Fry onion until golden brown in 1 ounce butter. Add to mince, then stir in stock and seasoning.
    Place in a greased pie dish.
    Mash potatoes with the rest of the butter, then add beaten egg.
    Beat well.
    Cover mince with the potatoes and bake in a moderate oven for 15 minutes.
    Dot potato with butter and brown under grill after cooking.
