Chocolate Refrigerator Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (7 oz. each) pkg. chocolate chips
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 eggs, separated
    1 pt. (2 c.) whipping cream
    1 (8 oz.) angel food cake
    1 pkg. chopped almonds
Preparation
    Melt chips with sugar in double boiler.
    Remove from heat and add beaten egg yolks.
    Cool 5 minutes (will be stiff).
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and whipped cream.
    Break cake into bite sized pieces.
    Place 1/2 cake in bottom of 8 x 12 x 2-inch greased pan.
    Cover with 1/2 chocolate mixture.
    Dot with remaining cake and cover with remainder of chocolate mix.
    Sprinkle chopped almonds on top.
    Chill overnight.
