Classic Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    rind of 2 lemons, cut in pieces
    1 c. fresh lemon juice
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan, stirring over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Boil about 1 minute.
    Strain; discard rind and cool.
    Add lemon juice and ice water; pour over ice and serve.
    Serves 6 to 8.
