Paella - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Italian sausage
    1 lb. shrimp, shelled
    12 mussels, scrubbed
    12 small clams in shell
    2 lb. chicken (I use wings)
    4 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 green pepper, chopped
    3 medium onions, chopped
    1 red pepper, chopped
    2 gloves garlic, minced
    2 large tomatoes, chopped
    1 c. peas
    1 1/2 c. white rice
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. saffron (optional)
    3 1/2 c. clear chicken broth
    5 Tbsp. white wine
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    If you don't have a paella pan, the broiler pan with your oven is large enough to use.
    In Dutch oven, heat oil.
    Add peppers and onions.
    Cook until tender.
    Add garlic, tomatoes and peas.
    Stir in rice, salt and saffron.
    Coat rice well and remove from heat. Transfer to prepared pan (sprayed with Pam).
