Noodle Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. broad noodles, cooked and drained
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 lb. cottage cheese
    1 pt. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. (approximately) nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat egg, sugar and cheese for a few minutes.
    Add milk, salt and vanilla.
    Add almost all melted fat.
    Mix with noodles and pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch (or oval) baking dish.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Add chopped nuts and/or fruit, i.e. raisins, pears, etc.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour. Serve warm or cold.
    Serves at least 12 people.
