Estelle Templeton'S Tea Cakes(Old Timey Tea Cakes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. real butter (this is the secret ingredient)
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 Tbsp. oil
    plain flour
Preparation
    Use enough flour to make a medium stiff dough and beat well. Roll out on a floured board to about 1/4 inch thick.
    Cut out and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until edge turns golden.
    Remove from oven and cool.
    Can eat plain or frost.
