French Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 onions, sliced (Spanish or Vidalia)
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    dash of pepper
    2 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
    3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese (not prepackaged Kraft)
    3/4 c. beef bouillon
    1/4 c. dry sherry
    1 1/2 c. plain croutons
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    Cook onions in 3 tablespoons margarine until tender.
    Blend in flour and pepper.
    Add bouillon and sherry.
    Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
    Turn into casserole dish.
    Toss croutons in melted butter; spoon atop onion mixture.
    Sprinkle with Swiss and Parmesan cheeses.
    Place under broiler until cheese melts (about 1 minute).
    Serve immediately.
    Serves 4 to 6 people as a side dish.
