Almond Joy Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. light Karo
1/2 c. water
1 (14 oz.) pkg. flaked coconut
1/2 tsp. almond
chocolate for dipping
Preparation

Combine sugar, Karo and water.
Cook over medium heat until forms a soft ball in water, stirring constantly until dissolved. When forms soft ball, remove from heat.
Add coconut and almonds or nuts.
Let cool.
When cool, shape into balls.
Lay on cookie sheet.
Refrigerate for cooling, then dip into chocolate.
