Baking Powder Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. cold shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together and cut in shortening.
Add milk to make a soft dough.
Place on floured board and knead lightly a few seconds.
Roll out 1/2-inch thick and cut with floured biscuit cutter.
Rolled on greased baking pan and bake in very hot oven (450\u00b0) about 12 minutes.
Makes 14 biscuits.
