Sunshine Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. orange Jello
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. hot water
    1 small can crushed pineapple, undrained
    2 cans mandarin oranges, drained, or 1 large can chopped peaches
    1 pint (16 oz.) sour cream
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients.
    Let cool to lukewarm.
    Add sour cream and whisk together until smooth.
    Add remaining ingredients and pour into a dish of your choice.
    Refrigerate until firm. Serves 8-10.
