Winterspice Potpourri(Not Edible) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. broken soft stick cinnamon (hard sticks are less fragrant)
    1 Tbsp. whole cloves
    2 Tbsp. whole allspice
    3 Tbsp. dried orange peel (save and dry orange peels)
    1 Tbsp. star anise (whole or broken)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and store in airtight container. Shake before using.
    To scent your home, simmer 2 heaping tablespoons in 4 to 6 cups water for 30 to 60 minutes.
    Blend can be refrigerated and used again.
