Chicago Hamburger - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. chopped meat
1 onion, diced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (16 1/2 oz.) can sweet peas
1 large tomato, sliced
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. oregano
dash of garlic powder
Preparation

In a saucepan, saute onion.
Add tomato sauce and peas with juice, salt, pepper, oregano and garlic powder.
Simmer for about 10 minutes.
Pan-fry potatoes.
When done, drain.
In a 1 quart pan, press uncooked chopped meat to about 1-inch thick.
Add potatoes.
Cover with tomato sauce mixture.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until meat is done.
Serve hot with favorite salad.
