Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 egg
    Pinch salt
    1/2 cup Crisco
    1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 1/2 cups plain flour
Preparation
    Melt Crisco, blend in sugar.
    Beat egg well; add.
    Add pinch of salt.
    Mix vinegar with baking soda; add to mixture.
    Stir in flour (handful at a time.
    May not actually use all 2 1/2 cups). Pour into cloth; roll until firm and very thin.
    Cut and bake at 400 degrees until brown.
    (Will have to watch carefully as they burn quickly.)
