Gooey Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 box powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 c. chopped nuts
coconut or chocolate chips (optional)

Preparation

Soften butter.
Mix with 1 egg and cake mix until crumbly. Add nuts, coconut or chips at this time, if desired.
Press in bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan.
Soften cream cheese and mix with sugar and 2 eggs.
Pour over cake mix.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
