English Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
    3 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    4 large cooking apples, peeled and sliced (about 6 c.)
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
Preparation
    In medium bowl, beat butter and brown sugar with wooden spoon or electric mixer until pale and fluffy.
    Stir in flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and water until smooth and thick.
    Stir in pecans.
    Mound apples in 9-inch pie plate.
    Mix granulated sugar with remaining cinnamon (1 teaspoon) and sprinkle over apples.
    Spoon pecan topping over apples in dollops.
    Bake on lowest rack of preheated oven at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve in bowls with cream.
