Karen'S Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 or 2 large pieces of boneless round steak
flour
vegetable oil
1 pkg. Durkee au jus packet
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can beefy mushroom soup
1 can water
1/2 c. milk
salt and pepper
Preparation

Have meat put through cuber at meat department once.
Cut into serving pieces.
Dip in flour and brown in vegetable oil; salt and pepper if desired.
Remove meat from frying pan and put in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Prepare packet of au jus according to directions and add to drippings in frying pan.
To this add soups, water and milk. Heat through and mix well.
Pour over meat.
Cover tightly and bake at 325\u00b0 for 2 hours or until meat is very tender.
If using 2 pieces of meat, you may need larger pan and extra water or milk.
