Self-Filled Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box devil's food cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, soft
    1/3 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    1 egg
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to directions.
    Spoon batter into paper-filled muffin pan; fill 2/3 full.
    Combine cream cheese and sugar; cream until light and fluffy.
    Add egg and salt; beat well. Stir in chocolate morsels.
    Spoon 1 heaping teaspoon of cream cheese mixture into center of each cupcake.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Makes 2 1/2 dozen cupcakes.
