German Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) sq. German chocolate
    1/4 c. butter
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 c. coconut
    1 unbaked deep dish (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and butter over low heat.
    Remove from heat and blend in milk; set aside.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Blend in chocolate mixture.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Combine pecans and coconut.
    Sprinkle evenly over pie.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Makes one 9-inch pie.
