Saturday Supper Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked red kidney beans
    1/2 c. chopped peanuts
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    2 c. shredded carrots
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. French dressing
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients. Blend mayonnaise and French dressing. Toss lightly. Add salt and serve on lettuce.
    Garnish with sliced hard-cooked egg.
