Stuffed Ham Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf Italian bread (18-inch)
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/3 c. chopped parsley
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. very finely chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 (4 oz. each) sliced boiled ham (8 slices)
    1 large dill pickle
    3/4 c. very finely chopped celery
Preparation
    Split bread.
    Hollow out each half with fork, leaving a 1/2-inch shell. Spread mayonnaise over hollows. Sprinkle with parsley.
    Blend cream cheese, celery, cheese, onion and salt. Spoon into bread halves, packing down well and leaving a small hollow down center.
    Quarter pickle lengthwise. Roll inside a double thick slice of ham.
    Place rolls end to end in center of bottom loaf. Close bread.
    Wrap loaf lightly in transparent wrap. Chill several hours.
    Makes 16 sandwiches.
