Very Crisp Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. soft margarine
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1/2 wheat germ
Preparation
    Mix sugar, margarine and eggs.
    Add nuts.
    Measure and sift together flour and soda.
    Add to egg mixture.
    Stir in oatmeal and mix well but gently.
    Shape into little balls; place on baking sheet.
    Flatten with fork.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes or until crisp and brown.
    Makes 6 dozen.
