Ingredients

4 eggs or 8 yolks
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 2/3 c. scalding hot milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly with rotary beater.
Beat in remaining ingredients.
Pour into pastry lined pan.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes, until knife inserted 1-inch from edge of crust comes out clean.
(Center will still look soft, but will set later.)
