Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. diced apples
2 c. sugar
1 c. nuts
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. cooking oil
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix together apples, sugar and nuts and let stand 1 hour or overnight.
Sift together flour, salt, soda and cinnamon.
Add to apple mixture.
Add cooking oil, eggs and vanilla and blend well. Bake in tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Make toothpick test to see if done.
Let cool before removing from pan.
