Elly'S Polish Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage, grated
    1 carrot, grated
    1 onion, diced
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 green pepper, diced
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Set aside first 5 ingredients.
    Place remaining ingredients in saucepan on stove.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Pour over cabbage.
    Cover and let stand on countertop for 3 hours, then refrigerate.
    Keeps for 2 weeks.
