Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. milk
4 tsp. melted shortening
Preparation

Sift together flour and sugar.
Beat eggs lightly; stir in milk.
Then add melted shortening and all liquids to flour mixture; beat mixture until smooth.
Bake on hot griddle until golden brown.
