Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. blueberries, fresh
    2 Tbsp. sugar for top
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time. Mix until blended.
    Sift all dry ingredients.
    Alternately add dry ingredients and milk.
    Stir by hand 1/2 cup mashed berries.
    Add remainder of berries and stir gently.
    Line muffin tins with paper liners and fill to the top with batter.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Makes 12 muffins.
