Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Karo white syrup
1/3 c. water
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. raw peanuts
Preparation

Mix butter, salt, and baking soda.
Set aside.
Mix sugar, syrup, and water.
Bring to a
boil (250\u00b0).
While boiling add peanuts, stirring constantly.
When temperature reaches 300\u00b0, remove from heat.
Add butter mixture, stirring briskly.
Pour into desired greased pan.
Cool.
