Broccoli-Sausage Quiche - cooking recipe

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
4 Brown 'N Serve sausage links, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
2 beaten eggs
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of broccoli soup
2 Tbsp. dried minced onion
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and well drained
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation

Line unbaked pie shell with a double thickness of foil.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 8 minutes. Remove foil.
Bake 4 to 6 minutes more or until golden brown.
Remove from oven; set aside. Reduce oven temperature to 375\u00b0.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook sausage and mushrooms. Drain.
In a medium bowl, combine egg, soup, onion and pepper. Stir in sausage mixture, broccoli and 3/4 cup of the cheese.
Pour mixture into the baked shell.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Let stand about 10 minutes.
Makes 6 main dish servings.
