Bible Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. flour (1 Kings 4:22)
1 c. butter (Judges 5:25)
2 c. sugar (sweeter cane; Jeremiah 6:20)
2 c. raisins (1 Samuel 30:12)
2 c. figs (Nahum 3:12)
2 tsp. honey (1 Samuel 14:25)
6 eggs (Jeremiah 17:11)
1 1/2 c. milk (Judges 4:19)
2 tsp. baking powder (Amos 4:5)
Preparation

Season to taste with spices in great abundance (2 Chronicles 9:9).
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add dry ingredients, alternately with milk.
Fold in raisins and chopped figs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
