German Potato Salad(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes, cooked
    1 stalk celery, diced
    2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
    1 onion, minced
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. minced parsley
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 slices bacon, diced
Preparation
    Boil potatoes; when soft, peel and dice.
    Add celery, sliced eggs and onion.
    Fry bacon until crisp and brown.
    Beat eggs; add sugar, spices, vinegar and water.
    Mix well.
    Pour egg mixture into hot bacon fat and stir until mixture thickens (about 10 minutes).
    Pour over potatoes and mix lightly.
