Cottage Cranberry Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry Jell-O
    1 c. hot water
    3 Tbsp. orange juice
    1 can whole cranberry sauce
    1 1/2 c. creamed cottage cheese
    small container Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup hot water.
    Stir in orange juice and cranberry sauce.
    Pour into 9-inch square glass cake pan.
    With electric beater, beat cottage cheese.
    Fold in Cool Whip and nuts. Spoon onto cranberry layer after it is set.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour or more.
