Fried Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    4 c. crushed cornflakes
    3/4 c. pecans, crushed
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    3/4 c. coconut
Preparation
    Heat butter and sugar until melted in saucepan.
    Add everything else, except ice cream; mix well.
    Press 1/2 mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread ice cream over mixture.
    Use large spoon to spread and press down.
    Top with other half of mixture. Freeze.
    Makes 8 to 12 servings.
