Marinated Cauliflower - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cauliflower, broken into pieces
    1 can black olives, sliced or whole, drained
    1 c. cherry tomatoes
    1 c. chopped cucumbers
    1 purple onion, sliced for rings
    1 c. salad oil
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. sweet basil
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    3/4 c. white vinegar (2/3 c. if desired)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation
    Mix the cauliflower and black olives. Add any or all of the next 3 ingredients. Make a salad dressing of the remaining ingredients and pour over the vegetables. Marinate, covered, in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours. Stir several times while marinating.
