Christmas "Bow" Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 cloves crushed garlic
    1 Spanish onion (large), chopped
    1 head broccoli, cut up (reserve 1 c. for decoration)
    2 large red peppers, chopped (reserve 1/2 c. for decoration)
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. bow tie pasta
    1 tsp. chopped basil
    1 c. light cream or milk
    1 large can chopped plum tomatoes or 8 fresh
    1/2 c. red wine
    3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion, broccoli, peppers and garlic in olive oil until tender.
    Add tomatoes, wine and season.
    Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Add cream or milk and cheese.
    Toss with bow tie pasta (1 to 1 1/2 pounds).
    Decorate top with reserved broccoli and pepper.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
