Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 c. heavy cream
    4 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 egg yolks
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 bananas
    1 (9-inch) pie crust
Preparation
    Scald milk and cream.
    Combine flour, cornstarch, sugar and salt.
    Add to milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly (up to 15 minutes).
    Stir a small amount into beaten egg yolks. Add yolks to milk mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Cook a few more minutes.
    Slice banana onto bottom and sides of cooked pie shell. Pour in filling.
    Cover with Saran Wrap and chill.
