Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 6 large Irish potatoes
1 sliced large onion
salt, black pepper and garlic powder to taste
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1 qt. milk
chopped green onions (to garnish)
Preparation

Peel and dice potatoes and onion.
Boil in 5-quart pot with enough water to cover by an inch.
Season water with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Once potatoes are well done and water has been reduced, add milk slowly.
Add cheese if desired and stir well.
