Cherry Pecan Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dates
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    4 c. whole pecans
    4 slightly beaten eggs
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Stir in fruit.
    Then add eggs, then pecans.
    Bake in greased tube pan with wax paper in bottom of pan. Bake in 250\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
