Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 sq. chocolate
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add beaten egg, melted chocolate and vanilla.
Add oatmeal, sifted flour and baking powder.
Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0.
Makes 3 dozen.
