Vanilla Wafer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. vanilla wafers
6 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. coconut
pinch of salt
2 sticks margarine
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. pecans, chopped

Preparation

Crush vanilla wafers.
Add eggs, sugar, coconut, baking powder, margarine (melted), vanilla and nuts.
Mix well by hand.
Pour in well-greased tube pan lined with wax paper and bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0. Begin in cold oven.
Let cool in pan.
For Christmas Fruit Cake, add fruit cake mix.
