Mama Mayer'S German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. red potatoes, cut up, boiled and drained
    1 onion, diced
    12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, reserve 1/4 c. grease
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. water
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    In a medium skillet, combine bacon grease, flour, vinegar, water and sugar.
    Cook until it begins to thicken, stirring often (about 2 minutes).
    Add onions and crumbled bacon to gravy. Pour over potatoes and gently stir together.
    Serve warm.
