Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
3 tsp. sugar
3/4 c. softened margarine
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 small carton Cool Whip
1 large box strawberry jello
2 c. boiling water
1 pt. frozen strawberries
Preparation

Cream 3 teaspoons sugar and margarine together.
Add pretzels. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Cool.
Cream together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar.
Add Cool Whip.
Spread over pretzels and refrigerate.
Mix together strawberry jello and boiling water.
Add frozen strawberries. Let set partially.
Spoon over cream cheese mixture and chill until completely set.
Serves 12.
